The International Work-Conference on Artificial Neural Networks (IWANN) is a biennial meeting that seeks to provide a discussion forum for scientists, engineers, educators and students about the latest ideas and realizations in the foundations, theory, models and applications of systems inspired on nature (neural networks, fuzzy logic and evolutionary systems) as well as in emerging areas related to the above topics.

The proceedings of IWANN are published by Springer-Verlag on LNCS. Also, extended versions of selected papers of the most recent editions have been published in special issues of the Neurocomputing.

IWANN is included in the "Computer Science Conference Ranking", and its proceedings are indexed by INSPEC, CiteSeer, CORE, and DBLP.
